We are so excited to put on another tabletop gaming convention in Honolulu, HI! Tabletop Oahu: Spring 2026 is all set to go on May 30 – 31, 2026. That is just two weeks away! Are you ready for an awesome weekend of tabletop games? We sure are!

Event tickets on our Tabletop.Events opened up yesterday, so if you’ve bought a badge you can start planning out your schedule. If you have not bought a badge, you can still purchase a two-day badge at the standard online rate of $60 per person. At midnight on May 25, the price goes up to our $70 at-the-door price regardless of whether you buy it online or at the convention.

You can pick up your badge early on Thursday May 28 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Armchair Adventurer. We will be selling badges here as well, but we will be using at-the-door prices. Sorry if you missed the lower rates! You’ll have a chance at a super early bird special for Fall 2026 if you buy your badge at our Registration Booth after we announce the dates for our next convention on Sunday afternoon. If you cannot make the early badge pickup, don’t worry! You’ll be able to pick up your badge at our Registration Booth on either Saturday or Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.

FUN FEATURES & FREEBIES

Rio Grande donated two pallets worth of games to Tabletop Oahu, so we are passing the good fortune along to you! The first 450 attendees to collect their badges will get a free game! That includes early badge pickup on Thursday before the convention!

Kapena Baptista of Pa Kōnane will be offering teaching demonstrations of Kōnane, a traditional Native Hawaiian board game for two players. Kapena Baptista won the inaugural interisland Ka Makou Konane Invitational Tournament held at Bishop Museum earlier this year. We are grateful to Medicine Games for sponsoring these “Learn to Play” events.

Micheal Cannon of Artildawn has donated “local kine” Magic the Gathering Card Templates for you to have as a fun freebie. Take these blank cards with you to the Artist Alley to commission custom art from our artists or draw on them yourself! Thanks Mr. Cannon!

Also, our Paint & Take Station has gotten some very fun on-theme miniatures for you to paint and take! Supplies of these sweet minis are limited, so stop by early if you can! Prizing for the Paint & Take Contest will include a base set and metallic set of Pro Acryl paints from Monument Hobbies so get your painting fingers ready!

LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS

Fig & Ginger, Taco Rice, and Castaways Ice Cream have kindly offered deals to Tabletop Oahu: Spring 2026 attendees! Show your badge at any of these local businesses for a discount.

Enjoy a nice breakfast at Fig & Ginger before coming over to the Hawaii Convention Center for Tabletop Oahu: Spring 2026! Play games on a full stomach. Van loves getting the Meatball Sub Special and Meg loves The Ocean, which is not the literal ocean and is smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast. The Poached Fig Almond Milk Latte is just as tasty as it sounds, if you are feeling a fancy coffee drink.

For lunch, we recommend going to Taco Rice for a Walking Taco, which is an opened bag of nacho cheese flavored Doritos with your choice of beef or tofu taco filling dumped inside. Or you can B.Y.O.C., that’s “Bring Your Own Chips”! Eat it with a spork as you walk back over to keep your hands conveniently un-saucy and non-sticky. But if you are wanting more than just a snack, their Taco Rice + Tots + Drink Combo is a no brainer! While the Taco Rice is tasty as is, we’re swapping the rice with tater tots next time.

And, finally, end your night with a sweet treat from Castaways Ice Cream. Treat yourself to a little somethin’ somethin’ after a long day of gaming. You can sample the flavors and pick the one you like best! Castaways Ice Cream is open until Midnight on Friday and Saturday and until 10 PM on Sunday.

On a related note, the Hawaii Convention Center has let us know that their Concession Stand will be open so we can also buy food right there.
